You'll thank me later
For a convenient stay, the location is spot on-close to attractions with a cozy atmosphere. My room was surprisingly modern, with nice touches including updates and cleanliness. Just be aware of limited front desk hours. If you prioritize affordability and comfort over frills, this place won't disappoint!

A comfortable, spacious room, and the hotel is near to the freeway.
The "continental breakfast" was not satisfactory. It consisted of coffee - no tea or other drinks, no fruit or fruit juice - and pre-packaged danish pastries.

I booked a room with a large bed, central heating, flat-screen television and a microwave oven. Private bathroom was amazing. The location was perfect and peaceful in a really quiet area, near transport and the beach and Monterey.

Overall had really good stay for a business trip. We had the suite which was brand-new and tastefully decorated with a jacuzzi hot tub.

Spacious rooms were perfect for my large family. We loved being close to the ocean for golfing and exploring local shops. The remodeled bathroom in our suite added a nice touch to our experience.
My kids wished for better gym facilities to burn off energy .

Convenient to most popular tourist attractions. Not great but a fair value for the $'s
Wi-Fi signal so weak it was unusable. Noise from fairgrounds was very noticable in the room

Its location in Monterey was comfortable and prime, just off Monterrey, a nice area and all the main attractions. All the staff were outstandingly accommodating, amiable.

Spa was broken, then repaired, still very old. Sauna was broken. Shower head in room sprayed very little water. Toilet tissue was very poor quality. pillows were terrible, should have been thrown out.. The continental breakfast was a joke. coffee and rolls only. No juice or tea for the non coffee drinkers.coke machine was empty

Nothing!
Way over priced for the poor quality. No internet service in many rooms. There was no air conditioning, nor ceiling fans - the room was very uncomfortably warm. The rooms are not like the photos shown online. I will be going to the online site where I booked this motel, and write a very negative review in complete detail. Spa was not deep enough to be useful and the spa jets were not functional/broken. Based on our experience, I will avoid all "America's Best Value Inns" in the future.
